Conversion funnel backlogs help businesses improve product conversion rates at every stage of a conversion funnel – from acquisition to revenue.


The funnel model helps your product and marketing teams to visualize and prioritize areas with significant drop-off rates. Once your team knows what stage has low conversions, you can focus on improving the numbers until a high-growth opportunity appears somewhere else in the funnel.


Use the template to brainstorm how you can improve each of the five stages:

  • Acquisition: How do your customers find you?

  • Activation: How quickly can you get your customers to the “aha moment”?

  • Retention: What is your current retention? Why are you losing customers?

  • Referral: How can you turn your customers into advocates? How do you activate them?

  • Revenue: How can you increase your product’s profitability and increase your revenue in the long run?
